Last year I joined ”Team Göteborg, Ride of Hope” to be involved in fund raising for the benefit of the Swedish Child Cancer Society ”Barncancerfonden”.

All the funds raised will go to children's cancer research and support for affected families that are welcomed by Almers House in Varberg for a week's holiday during this period.

As a member / participant in Team Gothenburg "Ride of Hope Europe" we are training and collecting money for one year. The year ends with a 1040 km long bike trip from Prague to Almers House family retreat in Varberg between 4th July and 10th July, 2016. I can say that this is a real 6-day challenge for the members of Team Gothenburg. We'll make it! We have been training diligently for the events, and I will be writing daily reports on my Facebook page every day as long as internet access is available, I hope I will have the power to do so. All team members cover their own expenses (bicycle, helmets, transportation to Prague, punctures, and clothes) ensuring that all funds collected by the team over the last year will go to the important research, assistance and support to affected cancer families.
