Funding pediatric cancer in Alexander’s memory

In loving memory of Alexander Levitsky

Our wonderful husband and father passed away on September 24, 2024. Please help us fund research to eliminate childhood cancer in honor of his memory.

As a family affected by childhood cancer, we understand the importance of raising awareness and funds to help support childhood cancer research.

Our husband and father, Alexander, spent many years fighting cardiovascular disease, rheumatoid arthritis and he suffered from several strokes. In the end, he succumbed to cancer.

Nearly 40 years ago Alexander lost his then six-year-old son "Adik" to Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

With the help of Barncancerfonden our family received incredible support during an immensely difficult time. Following Adik' death in 1986, Barncancerfonden was instrumental in helping our family publish a book about our brave and extraordinary son and brother.

Alexander was, much like his son Adik, a colorful, strong and warm person who saw the good in every indivudual that he met. His desire was to make a difference in the lives of others, both through his actions and through his work.

Cancer was a hard journey that our husband/father and son/brother both endured. It ended their lives, but didn't beat them. Through thought and memories, we continue our bonds with them. Their actions and their love live on within us, forever.

We want to make a difference in the lives of all kids with cancer and help move research forward! Please support this important cause in memory of Alexander, who chose to live life to its fullest and who knew that happiness is found in helping others.
