The British International School of Stockholm is participating in the Terry Fox Run to raise money for the Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation.

We're fundraising for the Terry Fox Run at our school! 

At 18, Terry Fox was diagnosed with osteogenic sarcoma, which led to the loss of his leg. He received cancer treatment in the children's wing. Witnessing the effect of cancer had a profound impact on Terry. At 21 years old, Terry set out on his incredible Marathon of Hope, running across Canada to raise money for cancer research. His determination and bravery started a movement that’s still going strong today! Terry ran an average of 42 kilometres every day for 143 days. That’s like running a full marathon every single day!
