I celebrate my 1 year cancer diagnosis

On sept 6th 2023, I started my journey to kill Bill. Bill is my breast cancer. After 9 months of surgery, chemo amd radiotherapy, I celebrate this journey and second chances by running Stockholm halfmarathon.

Cancer is a lonely journey but you are never alone. During my journey to Kill Bill, I realized how privileged I am. Privileged to have access to free healthcare.Priviledged to be supported at work with a fantastic team and personally with friends and family. Privileged to have a safe space where I can be vulnerable. Throughout my journey and this introspection, I realized that I would like to use this gift of cancer, this second chance to support education, and women. And it starts small. On Sept 6 2024, I will run Stockholm half marathon to raise money for Children Cancer funds. I will run for those who cannot and support education, research and children who are our future. 
Because being alive  is having a responsibility towards those who can't or don't have the freedom or possibility to live. Being alive forces you to accept risk and uncertainty as part of your journey . Olivier de Kersauson ; sailor
