Over the last 12 years, from Bangalore to Boston and Sydney to Stockholm - thousands of us have come together as one to make a difference. The Spirit of Wipro Run is a source of inspiration for all, becuase it supports a greater cause - that of giving back to the society.

This year, Wipro is supporting The Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation.

In the 1970s, a minority of children diagnosed with cancer survived. These days over 80% do. But that’s not enough. Childhood cancer is still the most common cause of death in the ages 1–14.

The Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation was founded in 1979 by parents of children with cancer, with the aim of creating a more hopeful future for children and teens diagnosed with cancer. The Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation is the largest financier of childhood cancer research in Sweden and today more than 80 percent of the affected children survive. The Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation works to ensure that affected children, teens and their families receive the care and support they need.

The vision of the Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation is to eradicate childhood cancer.
