Terms and conditions for organisers of events

• When you upload an image to your fundraising page, you also confirm that you own the rights to the image or that you have the consent of the rights owner to use the image and that the persons shown in the image, or their parents or guardians if they are under the age of 18, have agreed to its publication.

• The Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund reserves the right to remove material that is considered to be inappropriate or offensive.

• Information that is objectionable, inappropriate or offensive must not be entered in free comments fields. Information that is entered in the comments fields must comply with the instructions provided for the comments field.

• Information that is illegal under Swedish law (such as threats, slander, child pornography or similar) may be reported to the police.

• Invitations or links to external fundraising or private accounts are not permitted.

• The Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund reserves the right to close fundraisers and remove material that may be linked to activities and private individuals that can be described using words such as corrupt, unethical, exploitative and criminal or linked to activities relating to alcohol, tobacco, pornography or weapons or which constitute a danger to the environment.

• Organisers of an of Hope event must not pass the names of participants to a third party.

• As the organiser of an of Hope event, you accept the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund’s ethical guidelines. (Swedish)

• The Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund never provides the contact details of event participants to event organisers.

Terms and conditions for event participants

• As a participant in one of the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund’s events, you agree that both the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund and the local event organiser can contact you as a participant by email with information prior to the start of the event.

• The Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund will never provide your contact details to local organisers or third parties, such as event sponsors, without your consent.

• When you register for an event, you agree to your name being included in the list of event participants published on the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund’s website for sporting events. Note that you are able to select “anonymous participant” for the start list.

• Once the event has taken place, participant lists published on the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund’s website are removed and your participation in the event is anonymised for the general public.

• Information that is objectionable, inappropriate or offensive must not be entered in free comments fields. Information that is entered in the comments fields must comply with the instructions provided for the comments field.

• The Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund may contact you after an event has taken place with details of future events being held by the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund.

• The Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund accepts no responsibility for what is written on an event page. If you find something that you consider to be offensive or inappropriate or in breach of the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund's terms and conditions specified for event organisers and event participants, please contact us at info@barncancerfonden.se.


Consent

By creating an account and/or their own fundraiser on the Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation’s website, the user accepts these terms and conditions and consents to the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund processing personal data in accordance with the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund’s privacy policy
