NBCNS

Types of grants within the framework of NBCNS.

To support research within the area of neural childhood tumours, CNS tumours and neuroblastoma, four separate types of grants are awarded within the framework of NBCNS, Neuralt Barncancernätverk inom Sverige. [Neural Child Cancer Network in Sweden]

Funding for Doctoral research grants, Post-doctoral grants, Clinical research months and Joint grants for translational and interdisciplinary research is available. Applications are open to researchers working in Sweden in psycho-social research, rehabilitation research, clinical research, basic biological research, methodology development and/or applied treatment research. Grants already approved by Barncancerfonden are no obstacle for applications.

Timetable:

Applications for joint grants, doctoral research grants, post-doctoral grants/post-doctoral posts and clinical research months can be submitted once a year.

October: Application system opens
December 1: Last application date 

Spring: Information on grant
July 1: Granted funds can be used

Application regarding clinical auscultation grants are processed on a continuous basis by the NBCNS management group.
